Saturday night – moth trapping

4am: dawn chorus experience

5am: breakfast

5.30am: Morning Prayer (outside if warm enough)

8am and 9.15am : services as normal – creation themes

11.15am : Messy Mass – Pet Service

12.30pm : Picnic lunch (bring your own) bar & teas & coffees & cakes (Big Lunch in High Street & Parsons Close

1pm to 4pm : Family & children’s wildlife activities, expert-led tours, bee-team, stalls & displays

6pm : Evensong – creation theme

9pm: evening birdsong & Night Prayer

10pm to midnight: bats and badgers – limited numbers, booking essential

After Hours: Botanical Dyes - FULLY BOOKED

Thursday 9 June | 18.30 - 20.30 | £12/£10 concession

Spend an evening surrounded by colour! We will be looking at botanical dyes and how we can create a whole spectrum of colours using just three ingredients, red, yellow and blue. This is a brilliant introduction to the world of natural dyeing.

Join members of the Friends and the East London History Society, in  recording memorial inscriptions. This is part of an ongoing project to  record the history of the cemetery. More info.

Venue Address: St Mary the Virgin Church, Snead, nr Churchstoke, Powys.  To find the church turn down the lane leading from the Snead 'Welcome to Wales' layby on the A489 in between Bishops Castle and Churchstoke (layby on left when coming from Bishops Castldirection) 100 yards down lane is the entrance to the church.  The path leads down just behind a log cabin.  Limited parking by the log cabin.
